Stall speed calculation - Applet.
Encontré un lindo applet en este link para el cálculo de la velocidad de pérdida. Es bastante rápido de usar y de buena ayuda para los que sean algo negados con los números, ya que hace los cambios de unidades y además introduce la posibilidad de utilizar un ala trapezoidal.
I've found a nice applet in this link for the calculation of the stall speed. It's quite fast and helpful for those who don't like number as it's automatically changing units and also giving the possibility of introducing wing taper.
La única pega que le encuentro es que usa una aproximación para calcular la velocidad de pérdida, que aunque es mas conservativa, hace alguna suposición que tal vez no sea adecuada para todas las condiciones. De cualquier forma, se puede cambiar fácilmente en el texto del script (bastante simple de seguir).
The only negative point that I see is that is using an approximation to calculate the stall speed. Even though is a little bit more conservative, it's taking an assumption that perhaps is not accurate for all conditions. In any case, it can be easily change in the script text.
