Los que me conocen personalmente saben que defiendo a Bielsa desde siempre. Incluso cuando quedamos fuera del mundial 2002.

My friends and colleagues know that I´ve always been a defender of Bielsa, even when Argentina was pushed out of the 2002 World Cup.

No he vuelto a ver que la Selección Argentina tenga una idea de juego, ni que los rivales nos tenga respeto, como si sucedía en la era Bielsa. Argentina jugaba como hoy juega el Athletic de Bilbao: igual en cualquier campo; siempre al ataque, siempre explosiva, siempre al límite.

Since the Bielsa era, I haven't seen the albiceleste .with an idea of play,nor the rivals having the respect that they used to have. When Bielsa was the coach of the albiceleste, Argentina played as now is playing the Athletic de Bilbao: the same way in every field, always launched to the attack, always showing an explosive football, always on the edge.

Ojalá podamos ver de nuevo a Bielsa a cargo de la Selección. Seguro que la experiencia de todos estos años le ha servido también para corregir errores pasados, como el que cometió llevando a esos jugadores al Mundial del 2002, o cómo a veces es necesario darle un poco la pelota al rival para que salga de la trinchera en la que se mete y se puedan abrir esos muros de 10 jugadores como el que nos puso Suecia aquella vez... estoy seguro que habrá visto el video de ese partido unas 100 veces...

I hope that we can see Bielsa commanding the albiceleste one more time. I´m sure that the experience accumulated during these years has helped to correct old mistakes, like the selection of the players done for the 2002 World Cup, or how to solve the 10-player-wall put in place by Sweden during that championship... I´m sure that Marcelo has seen that match a thousand times.

Este post es para agradecer a Bielsa, en nombre de todos los fanáticos del fútbol, por tanto fútbol. Mi corazón está en Boedo (CASLA), pero también está en cada equipo que entrena Bielsa, así que ¡aupa Athletic, gora Bielsa!

This post is to show my gratitude to Bielsa in the name of all the football fans, for so much football. My heart is in Boedo, with my beloved San Lorenzo, but it´s also in every team coached by Bielsa... therefore, ¡aupa Athletic, gora Bielsa!
