Pasó mucho tiempo desde la última vez que este blogcito tuvo una entrada. Y no porque no tuviera material, solo que realmente cuando no me faltaba el tiempo me ha faltado la motivación para contar lo s muchos proyectos que inicio.
No parece, pero procesar el material, pensar el texto, sumar un par de fotos o algún video lleva mucho tiempo, y yo no vivo de esto (de hecho, este blog nunca me dió un dolar). Así que luego de un par de años de mucho trabajo (del de verdad 😀) y pocas horas libres, a ver si ahora puedo empezar a postear de nuevo.
En el medio de todo este tiempo, el mundo se puso patas para arriba por culpa de la maldita pandemia...
Y postear en un blog es casi caso de viejos. Ahora todo el mundo lo primero que hace es montarse un video en youtube. Si tuviese suficiente material visual yo capaz que yo también me habría pasado a youtube a estas alturas, pero realmente lo mío es mas de escribir.
Así que voy a reiniciar las notas del blogcito empezando por contar cómo me estoy armando mi propia touring bike o bici de cicloturismo, que con esto de la pandemia pareciera que se ha puesto de moda, moda en la que me incluyo.
Demás está decir que esa bici tendrá mucho de bricolaje casero, y a algún viejun como yo se acordará de algún brico o recomendación de acampada de las que salían en la revista Lúpin.
Pero la historia comienza en el próximo post.
Por el momento solo comentarles que la bici "donante" del alma de touring es una KTM Lucky Country en 26" con cuadro de acero que compré por 20€ en perfecto estado de conservación. No sé de qué año es la bici porque no pude encontrar información en ningún sitio al respecto (ni siquiera en alemán), pero por los componentes que trae me animo a darle al menos 20 años. Tendría que haberle preguntado al que me la vendió. Les dejo la foto.
En la próxima entrada les empiezo a contar el proceso de actualización. Espero que no me lleve 4 años de nuevo escribir la próxima entrada.
And posting on a blog seems to be something vintage by now. It seems that now nobody writes anymore, it's just easier to post it on YouTube. If I had enough visual material, perhaps I myself would have also switched to YouTube, but my thing is more about writing.
So I am going to restart the blog notes starting by telling how I am building my own touring bike, which with this pandemic seems to have become more and more common, almost a fashion... but a fashion in which I include myself.
Needless to say, that bike will have a lot of homemade DIY, and some old man like me will remember some DIY or camping recommendation that appeared in the Argentinean Lúpin magazines.
But the story begins in the next post.
For the moment, I can only tell you that the "donor" bike with the touring soul is an Austrian KTM Lucky Country in 26" with a steel frame that I bought for € 20 in perfect conditions. I don't know how old the bike is because I couldn't find information anywhere about it (not even in German), but for the type of components I would guess 20 years old. I should have asked the old owner.
In the next post I will begin to tell you about the update process. I hope it doesn't take me again 4 years to write the next entry!

It doesn't seem like it, but processing the material, thinking the text, adding a couple of photos or a video takes a long time, and I don't make a living from this (in fact, this blog never gave me a dollar). So after a couple of years of hard work (the real one 😀) and few free hours, let's see if now I can start posting again.
